Companies that want experience, candidates who have none, and mentors in between.
We put all three in one place. The candidate works inside a real job, the mentor writes down what they did, and the company decides by reading that record instead of a CV.
Free for mentees and mentors, always. The companies looking for talent are the ones who pay.

What each side has in surplus is what the others are missing
This is not a job board or a CV database. A third person — the mentor — knows the candidate and puts their own name behind them.
Mentee
Brings time, effort and raw ability. Missing: experience, a reference, a door.
The mentee puts in the work
Mentor
Brings ten-plus years and judgement. Missing: leverage, and a memory of who is where.
The mentor writes down what they saw
Company
Brings a real opening — an internship, a job. Missing: a junior signal it can trust.
The company opens the door
The chain of proof
- 1The company trusts the record because a mentor signed it.
- 2The mentor could sign it because the mentee actually did the work.
- 3The mentee did the work because the company put a real opportunity on the table.
We are at the start: the mentee and mentor sides run today, the company side is early access with hand-opened accounts. None of it is a mock-up — but the loop is not turning at full speed yet.
Where are you in this picture?
I am looking for an internship or a job
You have the ability, not the record. The record is what gets built here.
Read the mentee sectionI want to guide people
You already help people. Here you stop keeping track of it in your head.
Read the mentor sectionI am looking for talent
Meet the candidate through the mentor who worked with them for months.
Read the company sectionIf they turn you down for having no experience, build the experience here.
A mentor who knows you, a real project to work on, and a reference that reaches the company before your CV does. The mentee side is entirely free — the companies looking for talent are the ones who pay.
We match you with a mentor — you are not applying to a listing and waiting for an answer.
We invite mentors one by one; not everyone becomes one. You tell us what you are after and we match you with someone in your field. Once the match is made you message inside the app, request a meeting, and ask the question that is blocking you without waiting for a call. There is no mentor directory yet: today you do not pick your mentor, we do the matching. The directory is on the way.
You never have to ask anyone “was I forgotten?”
From application to internship to hiring, you see where you stand and what the next step is every time you open the app. Everything you discussed with your mentor and every goal you set stays on the record.
Someone speaks for you.
Your mentor rates you on technical skill, communication, reliability and growth and writes comments — and you read every word of it. Each project task you finish is recorded on its own. If you choose to share your profile with a company, that evaluation goes with it.
You build a portfolio by working, not by watching.
Join open projects as a developer, a tester or in marketing; you take your place on the team list, join the group chat and pick up the tasks assigned to you. You can message anyone on the same project directly. Joining is up to the project owner.
You can start before a mentor is assigned.
The moment your account opens you can upload your CV and get section-by-section feedback, prepare for an interview against the role you are targeting, and use ready-made cover letter and reference-request templates. All free.
Your visibility stays under your control.
Make your profile public and you get a link you can share; separately, if you allow it, you appear in company candidate search. Both are off by default and you can undo either at any time. Your email, phone number and date of birth are never shown. When a company shows interest, the signal goes to your mentor first and your mentor tells you.
We are new and we are not hiding it: we have not published a success story yet, and we are not writing a fake one. What we can show you today: we invite mentors one at a time, no screen on the mentee side asks for money, we show your data to nobody without your permission, and you can delete your account together with your CV whenever you want. Being here early has one concrete payoff — the number of candidates per mentor will never be this low again.
Verify your email; we review your sign-up and open your account. We ask for your CV later, for the mentor match.
Helping one person is easy. Helping eight at once means trying to remember where each of them left off.
We do the remembering. The mentor side is free.
You get your own application link.
You share the link; whoever applies fills in a form and lands in your application inbox. You set your own seat limit — when it is full, the link closes itself — and every application waits for your accept or decline, with the applicant told either way.
If you have ten minutes this week, the app tells you who to spend them on.
Open the dashboard: the people you have not spoken to in a while, whose question is still unanswered, or who are waiting for a meeting are sorted to the top. Deal with two of them and close it.
Six months from now you will not be wondering what the two of you last talked about.
For every person: which stage, when you last met, what you discussed, and your private notes. Only you see the notes. Adding someone takes thirty seconds. You can also add someone without an email address — they cannot sign in; they become your private tracking record.
Next time you open a position, you will not need to go looking for candidates.
The people you mentor are the only candidate pool where you have actually seen how someone works. You pick your next hire from months of observation instead of a CV.
A year from now you will not have to ask anyone how many people you worked with.
Your own funnel, how many people were hired, average time per stage — on your own screen, ready for a year-end review or a report to your institution.
Free · Candidate emails and phone numbers never go to any company · Your notes stay private · Open source (AGPL-3.0) · Export your data whenever you want
The product is in beta: the mentor dashboard, stage tracking, the interaction log, goals, meetings and availability are live today and free. We have no user testimonials yet — you would be one of the first twenty mentors, and you get a say in what gets built next. The code is fully open; every record you enter can be exported at any time.
You fill in a short form and we open your account within two working days. We are growing the mentor side slowly on purpose.
Meet the candidate through the mentor who worked with them for months, not through a CV.
Follow your interns from day one and make the hiring decision from a written record spanning months instead of two interviews. We are in a pilot: we open the account, we charge nothing, there is no contract.
Where is your intern, and how is it going?
One screen shows every candidate linked to your company: which stage they are at, who their mentor is, and the shape of the funnel. Meeting notes and goals are kept by the mentor; you read the status and the mentor’s periodic evaluation. You do not get write access — so the side keeping the record stays impartial.
Work together first, decide afterwards.
The process runs on a single line: internship starting → internship running → ready to hire → hired. You get to know the candidate through months of real work rather than one interview performance.
The cost of raising a junior does not land on your senior engineer’s desk.
The intern already has a mentor: someone who sets goals, meets them regularly, writes down their progress and produces periodic evaluations.
A candidate report card with a mentor’s name on it.
For every candidate who starts an internship at your company, their mentor files two evaluations — interim and final — with a score and a written comment under four headings: technical, communication, reliability, growth. Next to it sit the real project tasks the candidate completed. The report card is the product of time spent together: the pool is where you meet someone, not where you decide. Company access to evaluations is a premium permission and is opened by hand today.
When a candidate fits your opening, we tell you.
We enter your open positions into the system for you — it takes minutes. When a new candidate whose keywords overlap with yours enters the pool, you get a notification in the panel and an email: not a ranked shortlist, just a “take a look at this one”.
A small but real pool, built on consent.
The pool holds only candidates who ticked “let companies see me” themselves. It is small today and we know it — which is why the work is done by the notification, not by search. We never show you their email addresses or phone numbers.
- The whole codebase is open — AGPL-3.0, on GitHub.
- 289 released versions, with a public changelog.
We are in a pilot: we open the account, we charge nothing, there is no contract, and we delete your data the day you ask.
How it works
Application
The mentee signs up, or a mentor brings them in through their own link. We review the sign-up and open the account.
Match and real work
A mentor is matched, meetings and goals start, and the mentee joins a project with actual tasks.
Record and introduction
The mentor writes the evaluation; with the mentee’s consent it goes to the company along with the completed tasks.
When a company marks a candidate and writes a note, the notification goes to the mentor following that candidate, and the mentor makes the introduction. Company users cannot message candidates inside the app.
From first contact to outcome
Each mentee is tracked and evaluated at every stage — hiring is the outcome for those who prove themselves, not a guarantee.
Under the hood: 13 granular stages — from first contact to employed — grouped into three board phases, with deadlines and overdue flags.
Not everyone is hired: interns are evaluated and the strongest are offered roles.
Everything you need
Purpose-built for internship and hiring programs.
Pipeline tracking
Thirteen granular stages from first contact to employed, a drag-and-drop kanban board grouped into collapsible phases, stage deadlines with overdue flags, and a full append-only stage history.
Mentor self-service
Mentors add their own mentees, log meetings, feedback, emails, calls and WhatsApp chats, keep private notes, and get a needs-attention queue on their dashboard — admins can do it all too.
Companies & matching
Track partner companies and their needs, get skill-based mentor suggestions for each applicant, and let companies shortlist or express interest in candidates.
Communication
Video meeting invites with RSVP, in-app mentor–mentee messaging, single and bulk emails, announcements, notifications with per-category preferences, reminders and a weekly digest.
Documents & CV tools
Versioned document uploads, a multilingual template library with in-app preview and PDF/text/Markdown export, and CV parsing that suggests profile fields and skills — with an optional, consent-gated AI mode.
Projects, goals & evaluations
Internship projects with task lists and progress, personal goals, structured interim and final evaluations in both directions, and built-in Q&A between mentee and mentor.
Analytics & insights
Conversion funnel, per-stage aging and SLA, mentor workload and outcomes, six-month trends with a date-range selector, engagement and public-profile view counts.
Access & privacy
Role-based access, two-factor authentication, email verification, impersonation with audit, activity log, and a full GDPR toolkit: consent, retention reminders, erasure and one-click data export.
A pleasant place to work
Three languages (EN/TR/DE), dark mode, adjustable font size, global search, installable as an app (PWA) with offline support, and a public “What’s new” release-notes page.
Five roles, one platform
Admin
Full control — invite users, manage companies, cohorts and sources, assign mentorships, broadcast announcements, impersonate, and read analytics & audit logs.
Mentor
Own mentees, interaction history, kanban board, meetings, availability slots and emails.
Mentee
Complete your profile, message your mentor, upload a CV, use document templates, and track your goals and journey.
Company
A window for partner companies to observe their candidates — and shortlist or express interest in them.
Source
Referral partners (e.g. schools) submit mentees and follow how their referrals progress.

What you can check for yourself
Open source
The entire codebase is public under AGPL-3.0. Everything claimed on this page can be read in the code.
289 released versions
Every release is written up in EN/TR/DE on a public release-notes page.
Three languages
English, Türkçe and Deutsch at full parity — enforced in CI, not by hand.
Consent as a mechanism
A public profile and company visibility are two separate opt-ins, each recorded with its version and revocable at any time. Email, phone number and date of birth never appear on a public profile.
And the honest part: the product is in beta, built by a small team, with no user testimonials yet. The company side runs on hand-opened accounts. We would rather you read that here than find it out later.
Who is behind this?
InternshipCRM is built and maintained by Mehmet Erşahin — one person, in the open, after years of watching talented students miss out for lack of a simple, honest process. Questions and criticism are welcome.
Say hello on GitHubQuestions people actually ask
Mentee
If I sign up, can I use it right away?
We open your account after you verify your email — usually within one working day. There is nothing for you to chase in the meantime; we are looking for the right mentor for you.
How much time does it take? Will it clash with school?
You and your mentor set the rhythm; the typical pattern is one or two meetings a month with questions in between. Mentors publish their weekly availability and you request a slot. Pausing during exam weeks is fine.
Could I be rejected?
Being a student or a recent graduate is enough. We do not look at your GPA, your school or your experience. We review sign-ups because we do not want fake accounts, not to run an entrance exam.
What happens if I upload my CV?
Only your mentor — and, if you allow it, the company you are connected to — sees your CV. AI feedback is a separate consent; if you do not turn it on, your CV never goes to any model. Delete your account and your CV goes with it.
Why is it free? Are you selling my data?
The mentee and mentor sides are free, always. The revenue comes from companies looking for talent — we sell them the chance to reach you, not your data, and only if you allow it.
Will you find me a job?
No, and we cannot guarantee it — do not believe anyone who does. What we do: put you inside real work, write down what you did, and take that writing to the company.
Mentor
I have no time and I cannot learn another system.
Setup is ten minutes: type in the names of the people you already follow. After that it is about ten minutes a week — open the dashboard, deal with the two flagged people, close it. If you do not want to write notes, do not; the app still keeps track of who you last contacted and when.
How much am I committing to? Can I stop?
You decide how many people you take on: set your capacity in your profile and the application link refuses new applications once you are full. You can also pause new applications entirely, at any time.
Will this still be around in a year?
A small team writes this and the code is fully open (AGPL-3.0). The one concrete promise we make against the risk of it stopping: every record you enter can be exported with a single click.
Will it be visible outside that I mentor here?
Not today. Mentor profiles and a mentor directory are planned — we will build them before we promise them.
What do I get out of it?
Three things: the remembering taken off your shoulders, guiding a group instead of one person for the same effort, and already knowing the person you hire next year for months.
Company
How soon do I see the first candidate?
We open the account and connect your current interns ourselves; we do not send you a link until there is at least one real candidate in the panel.
Another system? We already have an ATS.
We do not replace your ATS, we feed it. There is a read-only REST API, an OpenAPI spec and signed webhooks — you can pipe candidate data into your own system. Nobody is locked in.
What does it cost?
Nothing during the pilot. We have no billing infrastructure yet; we will work pricing out together with the first companies.
What happens to my data if I leave?
We delete your account and your data the day you ask. No commitment.
How many candidates are there?
Ask and we will tell you the real number. It is a small one — and a small real number is worth more than a large vague one.
Which side are you on?
The mentee and mentor sides are free. Companies are in a pilot — no fee, no contract.
